Advanced

During this stage, students will be able to describe and narrate events in several time frames, sustain paragraph-length discourse, and direct and lead discussions. At the uppermost level, the student will be able to speak at length on a wide range of topics with developed arguments and hypotheses, with a consistent level of accuracy. The Advanced level consists of three stages.

Advanced A

By completing this level, students will be able to understand excerpts from newspapers, radio and television at normal speed. They will be able to participate orally in debates in subjective or objective topics, and to understand and produce fictional texts such as short stories.

Advanced B

By completing this level, students will be able to understand various materials such as news, interviews, films, and cassettes with a greater understanding of the feelings and emotions behind the language. They will be able to discuss facts, ideas and experiences, employing appropriate Arabic language sources for reference.

Advanced C

By completing this level, students will begin to approach fluency in the Arabic language that expresses facts and literature. They will be able to discuss a wide range of topics, both real and fictional.
