The Standard Group Program
The Standard Group Program is an intensive program which consists of 4 hours of study per day, 5 days a week. Standard Group classes range in size from 3 to 6 students per class.
Each term lasts six weeks, with a one-week break between terms. Students can choose the number of terms they wish to study, from six weeks up to a full academic year or longer. One term of study at SIAL corresponds approximately to one university semester of Arabic.
Standard group classes are held either in the morning from 8:00 to 12:30, or in the afternoon from 1:00 to 5:30. There are 10-minute breaks between each hour of class, as well as a 30-minute break after 2 hours.

The Private Group Program
A Private Group consists of 2 students, and is otherwise identical to the Standard Group, except that classes meet for 3 hours per day, rather than 4. This program is available year-round, and the group can set its own start and end dates.
Private group classes are held either in the morning from 8:00 to 12:30, or in the afternoon from 1:00 to 5:30. There are 10-minute breaks between each hour of class, as well as a 30-minute break after 2 hours.
