The Sana’a Institute of the Arabic Language is located in the heart of the historic Old City of Sana’a, capital of the modern Republic of Yemen and one of the oldest continually-inhabited cities in the world.
The Institute is situated on Sa’ilah street, just a few blocks from the Bab as-Sabah market quarter, and within walking distance of the transportation hub and city center, Midan at-Tahreer, as well as the landmark Souq al-Milh and Bab al-Yemen. This makes the Institute easily accessible from anywhere in Sana’a.
SIAL’s campus consists of traditional Yemeni buildings, built in the classical Sana’ani architectural style. Our main building is one of the largest and most beautiful Yemeni houses in Sana’a. The ancient architecture in Sana’a gives Yemen its nickname, “The Pearl of the Middle East”.
